**About You and this Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Advise client developers on Liferay front-end implementation and recommend front-end solutions to meet client’s requirement
- Design and implement elegant and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, following software solution best practices and conventions
- Deeply integrate React components with Liferay modules and systems (Liferay knowledge is a plus, but strong React fundamentals are essential)
- Develop and maintain reusable React components that adhere to best practices
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability
- Participate in code reviews to foster knowledge sharing and maintain consistency
- Demonstrate independence and self-sufficiency in front-end development
- Demo front-end implemented features to clients, and provide status, estimates, and recommendations

**Required Qualifications**
- Relevant professional experience in **Frontend development**:

- Strong development knowledge of Javascript, CSS
- Solid mastery of React, including Hooks, state management, and React Router
- Strong understanding of TypeScript concepts and type safety practices
- Experience with a CSS preprocessor (SASS, Less, etc.)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating with them
- Knowledge of agile software development methodologies
- Knowledge of accessibility is a considerable asset
- Knowledge of Liferay is a significant advantage
- Proficiency in English is required.

- Java Framework (Spring, Hibernate, Struts etc)
- DevOps (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Git etc)
- Unit and functional testing
- Database (MySQL, PostgreSQL etc)
- Webserver (Nginx, Apache)
- Docker
- Microservices frameworks and services
- External frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot)
- System security
- SDLC (FLC)
- JVM and Application Server tuning
- Code review for correctness & best practices
