**About the team**:
The Data team is responsible for generating the insights that drive the company's strategy, both macro and on a day-to-day basis. We're building a data culture company-wide leveraging cutting-edge technologies of the modern data stack and other tools to effectively deliver meaningful and valuable business insights that drive winning strategic decisions.

We are a technical and analytical team of engineers, analysts and scientists that are passionate about data. We believe in the propagation of the data literacy culture by enabling self-service Data as a Product strategy to help stakeholders and business users to best leverage the whole potential of data.

**About the role**:
The Data Specialist will be responsible for working closely with business areas to best understand their data needs while providing valuable insights to them by leveraging the cutting edge data technologies of the modern data Stack and advanced Analytics processes. The primary goal of this role is to enable strategic data driven business decisions based on analytical insights.

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- Experience with some data visualization platforms, such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Metabase, etc.
- Proficient in SQL and GitHub.
- Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions.
- Excellent planning, discovery and organizational skills.
- Experience with identifying primary issues, forming hypotheses, structuring and conducting data analyses and drawing conclusions/recommendations.
- Advanced English. Written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to present complex data and information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including executives and technical/non-technical leaders;

**Desirable qualifications**:

- Spanish is a plus
- Python, R or Scala are a plus
- Experience with DBT is a plus
