**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**

Product Unit Language Experience Lab is responsible for the translation of products in SAP supported languages. There are many tools which help us in accomplishing our business, however Language Experience Lab will venture into new age solution for Translation which will be a cloud based.

**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
- Analysis of business requirements, modeling, design, implementation and test based on SAP’s programming model
- Collaborate with other development teams and product management colleagues at SAP Language Experience who provide Translation requirements
- Efficient coding skills with a strong focus on quality and completeness
- Responsibility to ensure high quality (create and execute test cases, reviews of specifications, design reviews, code reviews)
- Ability to understand and master new technologies quickly
- Communicate confidently with integrity in difficult situations
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Excellent analytical and architectural skills
- Expert proficiency and Working experience in Core Java.
Working knowledge on Cloud development (persistence services, connectivity services, Security service, GIT services, IDM (Cloud identity) is an added advantage).
- Customer interaction skills, ability to prioritize software requirements, ability to identify reusability and hence provide acceptable work-around to customers
- Willingness to quickly acquire understanding in new areas and to work in development and support related activities
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Focus on software performance
- Self-motivated, open-minded, resourceful, agile and pragmatic
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following areas: Computer Science, Systems Analysis or Information Technology.
- Working knowledge would be preferred on the following:

- Cloud-native development
- Microservices
- Kubernetes
- DevOps culture
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- Professional experience in software development
- Strong experience in Java
- Previous experience with SCRUM and LEAN is highly valued
- Software engineering and formal software development methodologies
- Process and data modeling
- Git/Github expertise
- Design concepts
- Software quality assurance and test methodologies
