Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting a LATAM Regional Tax Director (New Consumer Health Company). This position will be located in São Paulo, Brazil.

**Position Description**:
This position is based in Brazil and will report to the Tax Planning Vice President.
**Additional responsibilities include**:
- Leadership Team member for Tax Planning, including participating in global enterprise tax meetings, as well as succession planning and calibration meetings at the global enterprise level
- Manage the regional relationship with the co-source provider(s) for tax planning and compliance work
- Govern and continually improve operational compliance and co-sourced engagements
- Develop and pursue tax planning strategies in LATAM which reduce the company’s overall tax risk profile, improve cash flow, and ensure a standardized process for compliance with all relevant tax laws
- Lead tax policy discussion efforts in LATAM in collaboration with HQ Tax
- Lead and develop a team of] about 10 dedicated tax planning and direct compliance professionals situated within the LATAM region to ensure collaboration and partnering with various NCHC tax teams, IT, supply chain and business partners
- Lead point of contact for all material Consumer Health tax matters within the Region, including all regional stakeholder groups, specialist functions, audits, etc.
- Accountable for the review of material statutory filings, direct tax returns and other key tax submissions in coordination with the regional co-source provider
- Demonstrate a strong combination of ownership, business understanding and a willingness to be hands-on in all aspects of NCHC tax planning
- Design, develop and deploy regional Consumer Health tax strategies
- Manage the analysis, review, and communication of the Regional NCHC ETR
- Maintain responsibility for Regional Transfer Pricing and reserves, intercompany transactions, audits, tax incentives and related documentation
- Secure and support Company regional tax positions
- Active management of the tax considerations for the Commercial and other enabling organizations
**Qualifications** Position Requirements**:
- A minimum of 12+ years of tax and finance business experience is required
- Brazil and Mexico tax experience is required
- Experience leading teams is required
- Experience managing co-source providers
- Ability to switch priorities quickly and expedite key tasks to meet business needs and manage risk in a fast-changing external environment is required
- The ability to anticipate changing requirements and effectively plan across the enterprise landscape is required
- Individual must work well in a team environment; be able to recommend and implement process improvements and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.
**Preferred Requirements/Competencies**:
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred
- Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and promote innovation and continuous learning within the group is preferred
- Regional LatAm experience and working with a US-headquartered multinational is preferred
- Advanced degree or professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant or CPA preferred
