**FRONT-END DEVELOPER**

**What we expect**:

- Attention-to-Detail and code quality
- 3 to 5 years or more experience as a Front End Web Developer or engineer working in a professional environment
- 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress development (MUST)
- Experience working with Custom Post Types and Custom Fields
- Strong experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, JSON and WordPress (ACF, WPForms, custom post types and taxonomies) and
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS components is a huge advantage, but a quick learner may be considered. (We provide training and we expect good results)
- Experience delivering fully-responsive “mobile first” websites
- You need to be able to work well with a small high-functioning hybrid (local, remote and offshore) team of SEO Experts, UXDs, Scrum Masters, QA, Dev Ops, and Back-End Web developers
- Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns
- Experience with Git, Github, and use of both within the context of a multi-developer team.

**Your Day-to-Day**
- Help design, develop, maintain and grow Sigma Bold & its clients’ digital portfolios as a front-end developer on the digital team.
- Create new consumer lead generation websites and platforms using HTML/TailwindCSS/Javascript/Laravel in a WordPress environment.
- Improve UI/UX, for both developers & customers through well-crafted tooling, tailwind components, shared libraries & frameworks;
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and be responsive to internal and external user feedback;
- Consult with business partners and UXDS to understand needs AND define how business requirements and user stories should be approached and implemented.
- Ensure quality code and solutions are delivered by development squads by helping to architect scalable best-practice solutions, ensuring quality code commenting and documentation processes are followed, AND completing code reviews prior to QA and UAT testing.
- Work on the latest Tailwind CSS features to deliver exceptional UI
- Keep current with the latest advancements in the development of technologies
- Will be involved in determining the operational feasibility of prospective projects by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions applicable on the Front End or UI/UX technologies.

**Follow through on commitments.** As a member of the digital team, you'll work within our 2-week or monthly sprint cycle where we'll count on you to size your work by providing close to accurate time estimates, report on your progress in daily stand-ups, report roadblocks, and complete work on time.
