Responsible for supporting decision-making on Marketplace-related Fraud Prevention initiatives by using data. The junior data analyst should, with the manager's guidance, collect data and do spot analyses to help answer complex questions, generate insights and improve our Fraud defenses.
- Structure and conduct data analyses with appropriate guidance and direction from the manager to support the construction of new Fraud rules and models or propose changes to the existing ones;
- Support with spot analysis to justify the implementation of new features that can improve our Fraud defenses;
- Help to structure, build and maintain dashboards to actively track fraud losses and identify potential risks;
- Communicate both orally and through written documents the results of the analysis to the manager to support on presentations and decision-making;
- Seek other teams (within or outside Fraud Prevention team) to get best practices related to data analysis and to ask for support when needed;
- Support other Shopee teams by providing information, conducting analyses and solving spot issues that lie within own scope of work;
- Conduct external benchmark studies to gather best practices related to Data Analysis in the Fraud Prevention landscape;
- Achieve overall targets settled for the initiatives within own scope of work.

**Requirements**:

- Degree Required in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related areas;
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint);
- Basic knowledge in any programming language;
- Advanced English;
- Intermediate experience with SQL or any other programming language;
- Experience in Fraud Prevention or in any previous data analysis role is a differential.
