**About the Job**

We are seeking a visionary and highly qualified Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) to lead our Data Science team. In this executive role, you will guide the company's AI strategy, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and General AI to deliver innovative solutions that drive market leadership.

**Responsibilities**
- Establish and lead the company’s AI vision and strategy, ensuring its integration into all aspects of product development and innovation.
- Manage and grow the Data Science team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of advanced AI models, ensuring adherence to ethical and responsible AI practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver AI solutions that enhance product value and usability.
- Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, identifying opportunities to adopt new technologies and methodologies that benefit the company.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and academic forums, establishing our position as an AI leader.
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, technology companies, and research organizations to drive AI innovation.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- ** Ph.D. or Master’s degree** in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- ** 10+ years of experience** leading Data Science or AI teams, with a portfolio of successful projects in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, LLMs, and General AI.
- ** Strong leadership and communication skills**, with the ability to inspire and guide highly technical teams while fostering collaboration.
- ** Proven ability to work cross-functionally**, translating complex technical concepts into business solutions and communicating effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- ** Fluency in English and Portuguese**, with the ability to effectively communicate in both languages.
- ** Proactive, results-oriented mindset**, with the ability to act independently and make impactful decisions.
- ** Hands-on approach** to leadership, with the ability to engage in both strategic vision and technical execution.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Demonstrated experience representing companies at industry events and forums, establishing thought leadership.
