-Job descriptionThe Brazil Global Treasury team, within the Brazil CFO, oversees the financial resources invested within HSBC Brasil SA, a subsidiary of HSBC PLC group. This includes the measurement and reporting of: liquidity, funding, leverage, Risk Weighted Assets / Capital and Interest Rate Risk of the Banking Book (IRRBB). The team’s primary objective is to ensure that these finite Financial Resources are deployed efficiently and effectively, optimizing and maximizing the Entity (HSBC Brazil) returns to the shareholders, following the highest governance standards implemented by the HSBC Group.
**Key activities**:
The job holder will play a key role in calculating, monitoring, controlling and providing analysis over the Treasury metrics, such as Liquidity, Funding, IRRBB, Capital and operational limits. She/he will also be the person in charge to help the Head of Global Treasury on preparing assessments, analysis and governance materials, delivering management and regulatory reports and driving financial and strategic decisions that align with the company's overarching strategy.Requirements-
- Deeply understanding of financial products such as: loans, FX products, derivatives, securities, repurchase agreements, funding instruments, risk distribution, etc.;
- Advanced knowledge on Bank Accounting (COSIF);
- Deeply understanding of financial math;
- Knowledge on predictive models;
- Knowledge on programming languages (VBA, SQL, etc.);
- Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Math, Physics or Engineering;
- 5+ years of experience
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
