Ubiminds is assisting CloudZero to grow its base in Brazil. CloudZero is a SaaS platform at the intersection of next-generation cloud cost management and FinOps.
CloudZero ingests billing and usage data from all cloud, SaaS, and PaaS providers, organizes it in real-time according to the customers’ business structures, lets customers view it at any level of time or resource granularity, and ultimately empowers them to make more informed business decisions.
Challenge
To combine your passions with your role to empower clients, drive meaningful discussions, and guide them toward successful FinOps outcomes.
What you'll do
- Engage directly with clients, delivering insightful cost intelligence observations and participating actively in discussions concerning cost growth factors and solutions
- Play a key role in guiding clients through their FinOps journey, offering guidance and assistance in making well-informed decisions regarding their financial operations
- Manage a spectrum of discussions, ranging from resource utilization conversations with engineering teams to strategizing tagging approaches within operations, addressing finance-related COGS matters, and analyzing unit cost trends with high-level executives
- Be part of a dynamic work environment where you'll handle various tasks, adapting to diverse topics and responsibilities daily
In order to succeed in this position, you will need:
Mandatory skills
- **Advanced/fluent English skills** - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid experience consulting on **AWS, GCP and/or Azure services and solutions**:
- Previous experience developing, documenting, and/or communicating **financial analysis and optimization recommendations for cloud services** with both tech and finance teams
- Knowledge of** spend/resource reservations **across the various clouds
- Previous experience with** tagging/labeling strategies**:
- Solid background in analyzing complex datasets in **Excel** using advanced concepts like vlookups, index matches, named ranges, pivot tables
Nice to haves
- FinOps Certified Practitioner
- At least one AWS, GCP, and/or Azure Certification
- Previous experience with BI dashboards (Quicksight, Looker, Domo, Tableau, or other)
- Experience authoring SQL
- Understand GAAP accounting
Non-technical skills
- Being oriented by performance, results, and client satisfaction
- Eager to work in a startup environment, being proactive, self-managed, client-devoted, and problem solver
