Consultant, Senior Business Analyst

The initial scope of work is 6 months to perform the current state assessment, future state, gap analysis and to build a comprehensive list of requirements that will be used to implement a robust data solution.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build relationships with all stakeholders to understand their issues, goals/objectives, and needs.
- Develop an understanding of the organizational level view of the processes, systems and functions related to the scope of work.
- Utilize standard (industry) techniques and methodologies to document and communicate the current and future state using but not limited to process flows, data dictionaries, use cases, business, and functional requirements specifications.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing processes, make recommendations including a gap analysis to facilitate streamlining the future state business processes.
- Provide input towards the identification of a system to support the project scope, development and administration of the future state processes, standards and guidelines to support the solution

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- CRO Industry experience preferred, must understand the landscape.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and part of a team and meet important deadlines.
- Comfortable analyzing large datasets, identifying inefficiencies, inaccuracies and making recommendations
- Requirements elicitation, documentation, and elaboration (refining requirements with assumptions, constraints, dependencies, issues and risks.
- Facilitation skills and business process mapping and analysis experience are essential.
- PMI-PBA/IIBA Certification considered strong assets
- Working knowledge of current programming and data analytics languages/tools and statistical analysis skills are an asset.
- Experience leading and managing large scale process improvement initiatives
- Process modeling and analysis skills including but not limited to information gathering, gap analysis between current and future state along with root cause analysis.
- Experience with AWS/Azure, Data Catalogs and Power BI is an asset
