**SUMMARY**
The Inspector II position performs basic to intermediate inspections while following industry standards and company procedures. Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines and has basic skills in analytical or scientific method or operational processes.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Performs thorough basic to intermediate inspections while adherence to governmental and company regulations and policies.
- Takes product measurements and samples; accurately and promptly perform related calculations; complete required reports and forms clearly and promptly; perform inventories.
- Calibrates and verifies the accuracy of measurement equipment.
- Ensures all work performed in the presence of hazardous materials as defined in the appropriate documents is done in strict accordance with Global Safety Manual, governmental and company regulations and policies.
- Ensures all inspections and products adhere to procedural, safety and quality requirements specified in the Global Safety Manual.
- Attends training and pass appropriate examinations in petroleum, chemical and gas inspection procedures, including Right-to-Know training, hazardous materials transportation, and other safety training required by applicable regulations.

- Performs other basic to intermediate inspection department duties assigned by the Manager or Scheduler.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the company to carry out your work in accordance with defined standards and procedures.
- Control the entry and exit of samples in the sample rooms.
**QUALIFICATION**
- Technical level diploma in chemistry, petrochemical or oil and gas, and/or higher education in chemistry, engineering in chemical or oil and gas is required.
- High School Diploma is required
- One plus year related laboratory experience and/or training preferred.
**SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Ability to write basic routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak professionally with customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and quantities (linear, volumetric, or weight) and to read and interpolate applicable data and tables. Able to draw and interpret applicable graphs and control charts.
- Ability to communicate orally, written and read in English.
