Tencent is seeking an eSports Manager passionate about games and eSports to help us establish, shape, and grow the ecosystem of Tencent eSports in Brazil from the grassroots to the pro scene working closely with our Global Head of eSports and local Country Manager. If you are an awesome strategic planner with tons of experience in partner management and used work in a fast pace environment you may be the right one for this position.

**Job Description**:

- Overall Tencent Leagues management and operations in Brazil.
- Foster the growth of local eSports ecosystem with a clear and strategic vision, creating initiatives from grassroots and building up the path to pro.
- Collaborate with local organizations and players to help them to elevate their individual brands and self-sustainability.
- Evaluate bids from third-party organizers and select partners for outsourcing local event production and operation ensuring high quality events.
- Develop, evaluate, and execute on partnership / collaboration opportunities with teams, brands, and third-parties, across retail, marketing, in-game integration, and live event activations.
- Drive the complete sponsorship fulfillment and content sales funnel from the very first pitch to closing a deal in concert with the Business Development Team.
- Track and stay within defined budgets, recommending crucial spending decisions where necessary.
- Draft a yearly schedule of regional competitions
- Draft and enforce regulations, policies, and rules to be applied in regional competitions in accordance with the global team.
- Create a local event strategy and design all aspects of local events including format, schedule, location, and seeding structure

Job Requirements
- You are a passionate hardcore gamer and eSports enthusiast that take play seriously
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in eSports/sports development at a leading game, tech or content and media company.
- Strategic and Critical Thinker: you make informed decisions and approach problems from different angles while keeping focus in the main goal.
- Outstanding Communicator: Excellent spoken and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
- Networking skill is a must
- Good team player, positive attitude and eager to learn
- Able to work evenings and weekend shifts as needed
- Previous Experience in event planning
- Street smart and savvy with local areas and venues
- Battle Royale and MOBA genre player
