**During your day as a Backend Developer you will**:

- Work closely with the frontend developers
- Build REST APIs
- Manage Flux queries to InfluxDB
- Manage Postgres database and database schema
- Manage users authentication
- Develop automated unit and system tests
- Document and maintain software features and functionality

**As a Backend Developer you need to have**:

- 6+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of Java experience
- 3+ years of Python experience
- Experience with the Micronaut framework
- Strong software development fundamentals, data structures, design patterns
- Well-versed with AWS services (RDS, EC2, S3, Secrets Manager)
- Good understanding of InfluxDB Flux queries
- Proficiency with Postgres SQL queries
- Experience with SaaS products
- Experience with observability and visualization products (or other data-centric products) before
- Understanding of Docker containers
