**What we are looking for**:
The Director, Quality South America is responsible for developing, implementing, and continually improving AGCO's quality management system with strategic direction and leading the implementation of all field quality initiatives, serving as an interface between plant operations and the Service Technician/Dealers/Customers.

The role also oversees product integrity with quality assurance planning, quality control and continuous quality improvement, as well as quality transformation for SA. Responsibilities include the standardization and continual improvement of processes, metrics, data, tools, methods, and quality support systems globally.

The function is responsible for defining, measuring/reporting, and managing the product quality and reliability performance of AGCO's entire product portfolio, working closely with the plant's Quality and Technical Services organization. Key areas of focus for continuous improvement and process/system enhancements are off-factory quality inspections, product issues/field troubleshooting, early issue identification/advanced analysis.

**What are you going to do**:

- Develop, implement and continually improve AGCO's quality management system
- Functional Excellence Regional Leadership Driven Quality Product Development, Suppliers, Manufacturing, and Field Customer Support
- Ensuring that products, processes and services comply with established standards and regulations
- Control the internal audit program of processes and procedures that are part of the quality manual and consequent action plans
- Develop the training and awareness program on the quality policy and procedures
- Trend analysis of results and development of corrective and preventive action plans to improve system effectiveness and customer satisfaction
- Develop and lead field failure reduction program
- Manage the AGCO Quality Council

**What do you need**:
**Education**:

- Graduate Engineering (mechanical, production, mechatronics or metallurgical). Desirable:

- MBA
- Certification as a Green, Black or Master Black Belt

Qualifications and Experience:

- Experience in leading teams focused on quality system management
- Lead auditor and/or specialist in ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016
- International knowledge of the automotive industry
- Development of continuous improvement programs using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma DMAIC tools
- Leadership of Advanced Product Quality Planning - APQP
