**Role **Summary**.**

Ashoka Changemakers is searching for a dynamic and detail-oriented intern to support our Data Privacy Manager in implementing data protection compliance measures mainly focused on GDPR. You’ll be responsible for creating and updating guides, providing training and support to the staff, and optimizing processes related to the privacy compliance program.

**Role **Description**

Activities will likely consist of:

- Update data mappings and records of processing (RoP)
- Support the development of data privacy trainings and guides
- Support the writing and review of privacy documents
- Provide on-going support to team's basic questions and privacy issues
- Assist in the demands and operational needs related to the data privacy program
- Improve clarity, efficiency and distribution of data privacy related info across team

**Skills** **Must** **Have**:

- Highly interested in exploring the intersection between tech, law and information management - any previous experience in the law & tech environment and/or feeling comfortable with legal language is a plus
- Researcher profile and tuned in to the most prominent tech and ethics debates
- Strong problem-solving abilities, creative and proactive, with a relentless curiosity for learning and developing new tactics - we believe in giving our interns freedom to create, lead, and make mistakes
- Team player mentality, you enjoy working with cross-functional teams
- Advanced written and spoken English
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Experience using MS Office (Excel, Power Point & Word)

- Monthly salary: R$ 1,500.00
- Length: 1 year, with possibility to extend for another year and salary raise
