Johnson & Johnson New Consumer Health is recruiting for a Environmental, Health and Safety SR Manager to work in São José dos Campos.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversees the development, planning and implementation of environmental, health and safety policies and procedures within the company.
- Ensures compliance with local government regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety, and handles contract with appropriate agencies.
- Coaches and advises the environmental, health and safety staff and management on ways to improve outcomes and programs in their areas.
- Ensures appropriate corrective action is taken where environmental, health and safety hazards exist.
- Oversees the development of company training programs for employees in areas such as hazardous material handling, emergency response, industrial hygiene, electrical safety, and machine safety.
- Coordinates various councils and teams to reduce exposure to environmental, health and safety issues. Manages these teams to implement necessary company wide changes.
- Provides upper management with ongoing consultation pertaining to environmental, health and safety regulations identifying the impacts of changes to regulations on key business objectives.
**Qualifications** Qualifications**:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
- Fluent English.
- Demonstrated ability in developing metrics, trend analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Demonstrated technical/working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
- Business & organizational skills with the ability to develop, maintain, generate project schedules, budgets and reports.
- Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis tools.
- Experience in identifying, evaluating (risk assessments), and controlling EHS risks in the workplace.
- Ability to quickly interpret complex regulatory issues and provide a recommended course of action
