**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in product design or User Experience (UX) design.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other related link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

**Preferred qualifications**:

- 6 years of experience with working in a cross-functional organization.
- 1 year of experience in leading design projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.

As an Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. Like all of our UX jobs, you’ll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.

In this role, you will contribute to shaping paths for developers to navigate and ensure that security and privacy are integrated into AI workflows. You will work on Artificial Intelligence (AI) development moments and understanding diverse user personas and identifying opportunities to reduce risk and enhance developer velocity. You will be ensuring responsible AI development and building user trust.User experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that people love. We strive to learn and understand our users’ needs, behaviors, and emotions to gather insights that inform product strategy and design. Our UX teams include designers, researchers, content strategists, and engineers who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. We work on collaborative teams to solve complex challenges and craft experiences that highlight our products’ unique capabilities and personalities. **Responsibilities**:

- Design tools for observability over technical infrastructure and diverse ecosystems, defining information architecture and visualizing data.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide creative solutions.
- Conduct and facilitate user research, participatory design workshops, and create service design artifacts to understand and map user journeys.
- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates and refinements.
- Communicate design solutions at various stages (e.g., wireframes, prototypes, etc.) and advocate for the prioritization of design-centered improvements.
