**Responsibilities**:
Power BI Development:

- Design, develop and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Create visualizations, interactive reports, and data model that provide actionable insights.

Data Integration:

- Extract, Transform and load (ETL) data from various data sources (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Excel, etc) into PowerBI.
- Collaboration with data engineers to ensure data quality and accuracy in Power BI reports may be required.
- Develop and maintain Power BI datasets and dataflows.

Data Modelling:

- Create and optimize data model that support business intelligence requirements.
- Design and implement calculated columns, measure and DAX queries.
- Ensure data models are scalable and performant.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with business analysts, data engineers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide training and support to end users on Power BI tools and dashboards.
- Document BI Solutions, including data models, DAX queries and report specifications.

Continuous Improvement:

- Stay current with the latest Power Bi features, best practices and industry trends.
- Continuously enhance existing Power BI Solutions to improve performance and user experience.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in BI Development with at least 3 years specifically focused on Power BI.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power Bi Service and Power Query.
- Strong Knowledge of data integration and ET Processes.
- Experience with SQL and database management systems (eg: SWL Server, Azure SQL).
- Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts is an added bonus.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

- Power BI Certification.
- Knowledge of other BI Tools ( Tableau, Qlikview, etc).
- Experience with advanced analytics.
- Experience with Azure Services.

**This role offers the flexibility of working remotely.**
