Product Owner

**Position Overview**:
As Product Owner, you’ll be helping to define and deliver an outstanding sportsbook experience for our international player base. You’ll identify and define key areas for product improvement and coordinate the delivery of these tasks, while working with a range of stakeholders and development teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Help deliver continuous improvements to performance, usability, and feature set across the Sportsbook product.
- Managing the Sportsbook product backlog, ensuring it is organised, prioritised, and aligned with product and business goals.
- Act as a key interface between internal stakeholders and development teams.
- Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria based on business and user needs.
- Ensure timely delivery of product enhancements across sports betting websites, back-office platforms, and trading tools.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product, Trading,
Design, Marketing, and Customer Support, to gather feedback and validate product decisions.
- Manage relationships with third parties, including our global sportsbook provider.
- Use data, research, and competitor insights to inform product prioritisation and output.
- Assist product management team in delivering roadmap initiatives and product strategy.
- Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives as part of the agile delivery process.
- Monitor industry trends, sporting calendars, and evolving user expectations.
- Maintain product documentation and support internal knowledge sharing

**Requirements**:

- A demonstrable knowledge of, and passion for, sports betting.
- A good understanding of sports betting products, customer journeys, and features
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal,able to communicate and present ideas to a range of stakeholders with confidence and clarity
- A self-starter who can work autonomously and take ownership of tasks
- Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities, changing requirements, and a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to leverage data and analytics to drive decision making.
- Ideally sports-mad, with a good knowledge of major leagues and events and an understanding of the betting opportunities each sport offers from a product perspective
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a relevant product role.
- Experience working in a digital product team, ideally within sports betting and/or the gambling industry.
- Experience writing user stories and working with agile development teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Monday
