To contribute to the design and development of high quality training products for commercial use by the BSI Training Academy worldwide. The role includes both the development of new courses and the maintenance of existing courses through updates and revisions.

The scope of the position encompasses all methods of delivery, including (but not limited to): Instructor
- led training, virtual training, eLearning, video learning, distance learning and blended learning. Excellent English language and writing skills are essential, as is a high attention to detail and experience of using MS Office (especially Word and PowerPoint). You must also be able to produce engaging and effective training course content. The ability to create and edit images, vectors, infographics and videos will be a distinct advantage. You will also project manage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and external suppliers in order to ensure that development tasks are completed on time and courses released on schedule.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- With guidance and support from Course Developer colleagues, you will develop eLearning and classroom courses using proven Instructional Design concepts and learning methodologies (such as ADDIE and Accelerated Learning)
- Work with the technical teams and SMEs to identify target audiences, set clear objectives, design session plans, write storyboards, create content, compile scripts and select assessment methods
- Project manage the technical team, SMEs and external suppliers to ensure quality of delivery and that deadlines are met
- Utilize practical examples, case studies and scenarios to achieve learning outcomes
- Ensure that content is well structured, engaging, and interactive
- Create and edit images, vectors, infographics and videos for use in training courses or as supporting resources
- Format, edit, and proofread your own work, and the work of others, to improve quality and consistency
- With support and guidance from Course Developer colleagues, you will ensure that accredited courses are designed and developed according to certified body requirements
- Ensure that the training product development processes and guidelines are followed
- Maintain the product section of the Intranet, making sure content is easy to find and up to date
- Prioritize, schedule, and meet deadlines and development timeframes
- Keep up to date with developments in learning approaches and technologies, especially with regards to digital and online solutions
