This Position reports to:
Service Team Leader

**Job Purpose**

Perform field services in process automation for industrial clients within ABB’s **Process Industries** division. Ensure a balanced delivery of services in terms of cost, deadlines, and quality, with **safety as a core value**, contributing to the continuity and efficiency of customer systems.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on automation systems in the field, according to service contracts, including on-call duties, time tracking, and technical reporting.
- Configure control systems using PLCs and DCS (ABB 800xA / AC800M), as well as graphical interfaces in supervisory systems.
- Develop and implement automation projects, including commissioning, start-up, and the assembly of electromechanical panels.
- Set up workstations, servers, and industrial communication protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, IEC61850, among others.
- Lead technical meetings, provide training to customers, and propose continuous improvements in executed projects and processes.

**Education**
- High school diploma required.
- Technical degree in Automation, Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related areas.

**Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years working in process automation in industrial environments.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in configuring and maintaining PLCs and DCS, preferably ABB (800xA / AC800M).
- Knowledge of industrial process control strategies, especially in Mining and Pulp & Paper sectors.
- Familiarity with IEC 61131 standard programming languages and industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet, etc.).
- Strong skills in writing technical reports and handling customer service.
- Must reside in Sorocaba/SP or nearby region.
- Valid driver’s license (CNH) and availability to travel.
