**The team**
Our Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, and efficient operations across DocuSign. The team consists of Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Revenue Operations, Investor Relations, and Business Operations. The Finance team partners across all organizations in DocuSign to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of our operational plans.

**This position**
As an Accounting Manager you have in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency in accounting systems, and strong motivation to contribute to the achievement of an efficient monthly/quarterly/annual close and financial reporting process, specifically for our acquired entities across the globe. You pay great attention to detail and the ability to deliver results under deadlines as well as working effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment.

This position is a people manager role reporting to Director, Finance and is designated Flex.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the day to day operational accounting functions across multiple international entities
- Manage the month-end close process and consolidation for these entities, creating and posting journal entries, performing and reviewing account reconciliations and meeting all required reporting deadlines
- Develop, implement, and document new policies and procedures to enhance the workflow of the department and the company
- Support consolidated annual audits and quarterly reviews, as well as statutory audits under local GAAP
- Manage and develop a team by providing day-to-day oversight and career mentorship for staff accountants

**Basic qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment and/or in public accounting

**Preferred qualifications**
- CPA
- A strong understanding of the accounting for a SaaS company
- Experience working in a multinational environment that includes various currencies
- Familiarity with NetSuite or other large well-known ERP or accounting systems
- Demonstrated prior success supervising staff
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
