**Junior Underwriter**

**Location**: São Paulo, Brazil

One of our clients is looking for a JUNIOR UNDERWRITER to join their team in São Paulo. It is a Global reinsurance company operating in São Paulo.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist senior underwriters in evaluating and analyzing reinsurance submissions.
- Conduct risk assessments and analyze underwriting data.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for underwriting decisions.
- Assist in preparing quotes and proposals for clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Support the underwriting team in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with brokers and clients to address inquiries and provide information.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience as an Underwriter in insurance and reinsurance companies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of reinsurance concepts is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- ** Proficiency in English is extremely necessary.**
