You have a strong gut sense for which direction to head, and you’re always asking questions. You can identify risks, conceptualize multiple scenarios, and chart a path to success. Your primary goal is to help our clients succeed, learn, and innovate. You excel at communicating with stakeholders of all levels, inspire trust, and have a shared sense of purpose within the project team. While you can see the big picture, you are also detail-oriented and able to break down large tasks into manageable steps that are documented, monitored, and controlled.
**Fluent proficiency in English is a must for this position.**
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
- Maintain a positive and respectful tone in all interactions
- Avoid CYA like the plague and never say, "Not my job.”
- Ensure project success
Project Management
- Work closely with an agile development team throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies, including daily sprints, mid-sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Facilitate continuous improvements of the team and its processes using a servant leadership style
- Identify and resolve problems, questions, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions
- Track team velocity, health, and sprint progress and surface risks to the appropriate stakeholders
- Own budgets, timelines, scope, and risks
- Act as the client’s primary contact on projects and radiate information and transparency.
- Provide high levels of client communication and customer service
- Take clear notes on action items and effectively disseminate information and tasks to the team
- Report weekly to the manager on project health (including budgets, schedules, and scope concerns)
- Report weekly/monthly status updates to clients
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 3+ years of experience in project management or other applicable roles
- Certification in Scrum, SAFE, Agile, PMP, or other project management system
- Direct work experience in the digital realm and knowledge of development project life cycles
