**Key Areas of Responsibility** and Tasks**

Responsible for assessing technical and functional issues and developing system solutions for the deployment and the ongoing support of Ariba cloud and on-premise based products and solutions. This may include support of the customer throughout the life cycle of the customer engagement.

Core Tasks may include
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME), in analyzing, designing, and understanding system architecture, functionality and customizations required
- Assessing customer’s Ariba solutions (Sourcing, Ariba Procure-to-Pay and Ariba Network) and assist in system configuration
- Providing expert functional and technical support (L2 & L3) across Ariba cloud as well as on-premise solutions
- Designing custom solutions for integrating Ariba with multiple customer’s ERP/legacy systems
- Managing technical performance expectations
- Planning and managing multiple customer projects and handling customer expectations effectively and efficiently
- Detailed planning of process implementation
- Defining detailed blueprint for development requirements
- Being an advisor to customers throughout the engagement
- Leading resolution of escalations
- Supporting system optimization and performance
- Taking project manager responsibility as required across one or more customer engagements
**Experience & Language Requirements**
**Functional Experience**
- At least five years professional experience thereof two years as a consultant
- Expert in SAP Ariba technology with good knowledge and experience in Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Procure-to-Pay and Ariba Network solutions
- Experienced implementing one or more ERP systems, integrating ERP systems with Ariba, and managing system configurations
- Technical planning and deployment over the full project cycle
- Has experience supporting customer production environments and resolving production tickets
- Has experience with multiple deployments
- Plans and reviews concepts and detailed blueprints of IT projects
- Consulting experience across Ariba Cloud and On-Premise business
- Can successfully handle an escalation project
- Active Member of a cloud/technology related community

English: Fluent

**Education**

Degree in sciences (computer, natural, technical) or equivalent work experience

**Professional Training & Certification**:

- Project Management (PMP) / Cloud Enablement
