**Job Profile / Activities**:
- Analyzes, recommends, and executes Collection strategies for accounts in the Special Accounts portfolio
- Analyzes, recommends, and executes Portfolio Management strategies for accounts in the Special Accounts portfolio
- Recommends loss minimization actions for the Special Accounts portfolio, including late charge discount, waivers, collection expense management, etc.
- Directly negotiates with customers from the Special Account portfolio workouts, payment, and/or exit plans.
- In partnership with the Asset Management team, performs equipment audits on Special Accounts and authorizes and evaluates equipment inspections as needed
- Underwrites credit proposals for Special Accounts workouts, including restructures within different levels of credit authority
- In partnership with the Legal Services Division, provides direction and leadership to the repossession, recovery, or legal efforts. Authorizes and conducts equipment repossessions, which includes authorizing legal correspondence and arranging for transportation and safe storage of the units
- Based upon an analysis of accounts and customer assets, makes recommendation regarding the legal strategy for pursuing outstanding account balances
- In partnership with Line Unit’s Customer Services department and Asset Management, analyzes, and recommends remarketing strategies for inventoried assets
- Develops and nurtures a strong working relationship with the Line Unit (Customer Services, Credit and Operations, Accounting and Finance, and Sales Departments), Risk Management, Legal Services, Asset Management, and partners (Dealers) on assigned portfolio
- Contributes to the Special Account Department Portfolio Management, including its reporting to Line Unit Managers and Latin America Excellence Council
- Reports Special Accounts portfolio metrics, including past due, aging and performance factors
- Recommends Potential Credit Loss actions to the Line Unit and oversees allowance/reserve of the assigned Special Accounts Portfolio
- Recommends Write-offs for the Special Accounts portfolio
- Coordinates with the Legal Department to provide information needed to issue judgments and garnishments and pursue litigation
- Monitors payments received from legal accounts and takes appropriate collection action when a delinquency has been identified
- Performs buyout calculations on Special Accounts
**Basic Qualifications**:
**Education**:University degree
**Experience**:Credit, collections and portfolio management. Non-performing Asset Collections, Distressed Portfolio Management and Special Accounts Management experience is recommended.
**Language**:Advanced English
**Knowledge**:
- Thorough knowledge of Credit Risk, Collections and Portfolio Management in the asset-based finance industry
- Thorough knowledge of complex transaction Credit Underwriting, financial products offered in the region, including leases and loans
- Demonstrated knowledge in financial products enforceability in the regions covered
- Advanced ability to train other employees as needed and plan and facilitate meetings
- Thorough knowledge of financing documentation principles, billing and invoicing principles and concepts
- Advanced ability to participate in projects via continuous improvement methodology to completion and implementation
- Demonstrated advanced ability to handle complaint resolution on complex issues with limited assistance, in the majority of cases, or direct to appropriate level as necessary
- Demonstrated advanced ability to oversee assigned processes within an assigned portfolio and provide guidance to colleagues and updates to management
- Ability to drive a car or adequately arrange for transportation to and from dealerships, customer sites, court appearances, etc.
