Responsible for local FX trading with our global client base
- Provide support when needed to the regional team as well as the local trading team across Rates and FX
- Previous experience as market maker for FX as well as risk management required
- Solid knowledge of the Brazilian market
- Solid knowledge of Excel/VBA required
- Fluent English is also mandatory for this role
- Constant interaction with the regional EM trading team to rebuild our solid platform and gain market share in the Brazilian market
- Build a solid relationship with key target accounts
- Works closely with team to assist in the identification of opportunities to maximize Company’s customer service and penetration of targeted clients.
- Map all opportunities with our client base and connect them with our global franchise
- Actively provide market color, trade ideas and share information with our stakeholders
- Communicate a clear vision that is aligned to the overall HSBC vision, Values and goals, and inspires and engages people to create an inclusive, high performing, customer-centered culture.
- Lead, develop and motivate the leadership team to attract, retain and develop the capacity, capability and talent to provide for succession and ensure delivery of business objectives.
- Set expectations, share best practice, meet the required standards, and continuously develop capabilities and experience.
- Lead and encourage constructive cross-country and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and behaviours that are consistent with HSBC's diversity policy and/or the best interests of the business and its customers.
