**About the role**

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Next.js Developer at Makai Labs. The Senior Next.js Developer will be responsible for front-end web development. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance user experiences and drive business outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years using Next.js.
- Solid experience working from a fully remote position.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Relevant experience with using Tailwind/Material Ul/Joy UI
- Familiarity with RESTful APls and modern authorization mechanisms.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop new user-facing features using Next.js.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
- Write robust, clean, and documented code.
- Conduct performance tests and ensure responsiveness and stability across all platforms.
