**Background**:
Imagine that you are part of a rapidly evolving & changing area, responsible for implementing and maintaining the Data Management framework across the South America Region (SA).
The First Line Risk and Security (FLR) is responsible for designing risk management strategies across SA, working with second and third lines of responsibilities. Currently FLR covers Risk Management, Regulatory Projects, Privacy, Vendor Management, Data Management, CyberSecurity, BCM etc.
Data Management is growing in importance with the increasing amount of data being generated and the rising number of related compliance regulations.
It’s defined as ‘the business function that develops and executes plans, policies, practices, and projects that acquire, control, protect, deliver and enhance the value of data’.

Within the Rabobank, data is valuable Asset, managed with the same care and professionalism as you would do with a Customer Product.
The Data Management Analyst supports the SA Data Management Officer (SA DMO) and the Regional Data Quality Board and working groups understanding, planning, implementing, and monitoring the initiatives to help the organisation comply with policies and standards accordingly.

**Top responsibilities**:

- Implements and maintains the data governance including policies, procedures and rules in line with global standards and best practices, such as DMBoK.
- Initiates, and monitors initiatives within SA on Data management.
- Implements Reference Data by understanding policies and N&F and defining procedures for monitoring adherence.
- Understanding roles and responsibilities, recommending for RDQB/working committees applicability, and ensuring, through leadership, engagement of involved stakeholders.
- Supporting the DMO in maintaining data management indicators to ensure compliance with policies, standards, functions, and responsibilities related to adoption requirements.
- Contribute to obtaining knowledge in the business context and unification of the data vision in the company (data driven)
- Establish relationships with local, regional, and global stakeholders, across the three lines of responsibilities.
- Collaborates with other Regional DMO’s across the globe for best practice sharing.
