**Job Purpose**
Under limited supervision evaluate, inspect and analyze raw materials, intermediates and finished goods by per-forming sensory and/or physical and/or analytical tests to secure compliance with product safety regulations, specifications and standards.
This is a temporary position (9-month contract).
**Core Responsibilities**
- Perform quality control analysis of raw materials, intermediates and finished goods by performing sensory and/or physical and/or analytical tests.
- Calibrate basic equipment and perform non routine maintenance tasks noted in calibration/maintenance procedures.
- Investigate instrument, equipment and quality deviations / troubleshooting in laboratory.
- Implement improvements in Quality Control and set proactive measure for trouble prevention.
**Academic Background**
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or related discipline
- Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry is a plus
**Professional experience**
- Overall work experience of 3 to 4 years in a similar position
- Previous background in Analytical Quality Control required
**Technical Skills**
- Laboratory and/or Quality Control techniques required.
- Operational experience of a laboratory environment, analytical equipment and instruments such as weigh-ing balance, Densitometer, Refractometer, Karl Fischer Titrator and GC.
- Knowledge on chemical substances, hazardous material and related local regulations.
- Good Sensory Evaluation experience (preferred)
- Intermediate English level
