**What you will bring to the team**
The Channel Sales Rep is responsible for achieving the company revenue objectives and overall business plan for the Channel Business Partners (distributors, resellers, s/w houses, agents, integrators, etc) and all Non-Strategic Accounts, programs, associated staff, and work streams in support of the company’s Brazilian Business. This position is responsible to control a group of Business Partners and associated programs, facilitation of orders and shipments, the company’s product line along with establishing and maintaining positive, long-term relationships with existing and new Business Partners, Distributors, and end user clients.
This position is also required to be full responsible for all Non-Strategic Accounts assigned by the company as his/her responsibility, being their daily point of contact, maintaining customer satisfaction, handling service renewals and upsells, and helping customers strategize to get the most out of our products, services and solutions, always supporting and being supported by channels (usually resellers), with the aim of turning these customers into Strategic accounts and resellers into VARs over time.
In addition, this position needs to support the distributor on attending any other customer not directly named to his/her responsibility.
This position reports to the Brazilian Country Manager - Sales Brazil, having a dot line to the Senior Manager of Channels Sales, South America Region.
**What you will be doing**:
Your typical day as a Toshiba Sales Representative IV involve:
- Execute tactical and strategic consultative sales partner plans for existing and new business partners to achieve the revenue targets (quota) as directed by the Business. This includes the handling of Partner, Distributor, and end-user queries effectively and dealing with various selling objections during the sales
- Support and be supported by resellers, to reach the most senior executives in their nominated customers (decision makers, influencers, sponsors, etc), to better guarantee the choice of Toshiba solutions.
- Support any channels in approaching customers, even those not under his/her direct responsibility.
- Establish and maintain a high level of positive and effective contact with key partners, distributors, agents, lead generators and others to enhance sales opportunities for new and continuing business development and major client accounts within the Channel.
- Develop and control effective partner/distributor programs to optimize sales revenue and gross profit in tandem with other company personnel. Controls the metrics for success and creates dashboards to evaluate overall effectiveness.
- Develop, supervise, and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle using the company CRM to log and keep track of sales opportunities. Use the CRM to accurately forecast current and future potential sales leads using the defined company forecast methodology.
- Present and demonstrates Toshiba Products in group meetings to senior executives and emphasizes salable features such as company vision, strategy, reputation, products/systems architecture, flexibility of design, process re-engineering capability, integration of client systems environment, return-on-investment (ROI) studies, etc.
- Promote training strategies for business partners in the portfolio, value, and business proposition to improve the quality of partners using the company's channel rating and classification programs.
