Dow has an opening for a Senior Transfer Pricing Specialist located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This position is part of the Controllers - Tax organization, Transfer Pricing Team. The team is responsible for managing transactions between companies of the Dow group in a complex global footprint. The team ensures a consistent method of determining transfer prices that comply with international tax guidelines, country-specific regulations, and Dow’s internal policies and procedures. Transfer prices are a critical element in the order-to-cash process as they are used to establish local statutory and tax values for inventory and intercompany product sales and serve as the customs import declaration value.

This position ensures transfer pricing activities are carried out with great precision and accuracy. The Senior Transfer Pricing Specialist develops strategic insights and recommendations for complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions to maximize shareholder value while ensuring the integrity of global financial reporting and compliance with tax regulations.

In this position you will:
- Review, analyze, and monitor legal entity business results, and propose changes in intercompany prices to ensure arm’s length results- Manage global intercompany royalties and commissions processes- Prepare transfer pricing documentation reports- Respond to internal and external transfer price inquiries and provide documentation if necessary- As the corporate tax focal point for intercompany service transactions, provide internal consulting, manage the execution of certain agreements and their maintenance in a central repository- Develop and support the implementation of new tools, metrics, and reporting- Work with business and functional finance personnel to analyze intercompany transactions and implement projects

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, a degree in Accounting preferred- A minimum of 7 years of relevant accounting/finance/tax experience- A minimum of 3 years of Transfer Pricing experience- Understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles- Strong computer logic skills including MS Excel (complex formulas & macros), SAP experience preferred- Advanced English Level- Previous tax experience preferred- A minimum requirement for this Brazil-based position is the ability to work legally in Brazil.
