**Job Description Summary**: The Project Quality Manager (PQM) is responsible for ensuring that the contractual quality requirements (in terms of inspection notification, execution, documentation collection, management of non-conformance reports etc.) are compliant with the scope of supply.
You will drive a Culture of Quality where quality is built-in to the planning process, enabling teams to do their work right the first time, where processes are followed in execution, where shortcomings and defects are captured as non-conformances, where problems are fed back into the organization for accountability and resolution, and where ideas and lessons learned are captured for future improvement. You will help front-line and back-office teams resolve problems (i.e. NCR, RCA, 8D, PSR) and act as an culture change agent.

- You have basic understanding of quality assurance methods including quality surveillance, inspection and testing techniques
- You are able to travel domestically and internationally on an occasional basis as needed
**Your role**:
- Support Tendering team for all quality aspects, providing Inspection and Test Programs (ITP) as required.
- Negotiate quality requirements, witness points, notification period etc. with both the customer and / or the 3rd Party Inspectorate.
- Close collaboration within the horizontal project quality team (Supplier Quality, Site Quality, Project Management, internal partners and external supply chain, workshops etc.).
- Lead project specific supplier risk assessment and the definition of project specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPLs).
- Integrate witness points, quality requirements and first article inspection requirements in ITPLs.
- Quality interface to customer and internal partners, participate in customer quality meetings.
- Manage witness point schedule, communicate inspection notifications to customer and participate in witness inspections as required.
- Support kick-off meetings with key suppliers / product owners for specific projects.
- Non-conformance Report (NCR) coordination as ordering unit / assignment group, NCR and CoPQ follow-up.
- Follow-up and communication on customer non-conformities.
- Support and lead root cause analysis in the project, such as 8D, A3, 5Why, etc.
- Prepare End of Manufacture Report (EoMR) documentation for submittal to customer, as per ITP and / or contractual requirements.
- Closeout of all quality related operations prior to closure of the Project by Project Management.
- Seek, share and institutionalize best practices and lessons learned across the project
- Practitioner of Lean
- Basic knowledge to lead root cause analysis in the project, such as 8D, A3, 5Why, etc.
- Conduct audits on region’s own processes such at the SP Outage Wing to Wing Process
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering or equivalent experience in field service (maintenance, installation) or quality, from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Steam Turbine and / or Generator Business.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a combination of Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain environments
- 8D problem resolution, FMEA and other related quality methodologies
**Desired Characteristics**
- Working knowledge of one or more: Steam turbine, generator, and power plant auxiliaries
- Formal technical and / or quality qualification with practical manufacturing experience
- Experience with repairs, on-site services (welding, diagnostics, NDT,), installation etc.
- Expertise of applicable TRS Technical Regulations & Standards
- Additional languages
- Understands the principles of Six Sigma / Lean methodologies.
- Experience in successfully working with and influencing multi-discipline teams and drive quality improvements (Event Management, Field Service, Parts, Repairs, Operations)
- Change agent with strong credibility, communication and influencing skills and the proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders to become supporters
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to motivate others to achieve results
- A procedure mindset and ability to implement procedures and monitor compliance
