Key job responsibilities
- Manage catalog quality team, provide coaching and mentoring to catalog specialists. We want to develop our employees for career progression.
- Use analysis to proactively identify, fix, and prevent quality issues within the Amazon product catalog;
- Dive deep to identify root causes of key pain points and define short to long term solution to fix issues;
- Define the list of high priority projects/processes to be implemented;
- Scope, drive and deliver medium to large-scale projects inside Catalog Services for Brazil. You will be required to define clear milestones and effectively set the expectations of stakeholders.
- Monitor and drive efficiency across all service processes, analyzing and fixing the root cause of problems.
- Build scalable processes that leverages from machine learning solutions and automated solutions

A day in the life
The Catalog Quality Manager starts the week taking a look on her/his main KPIs, tracking opportunities to deliver against goal and reporting in weekly meeting status how team is advancing to protect customers against a catalog with defects. He/She will take necessary actions to reach goals and is responsible to plan for successful catalog work streams that will solve critical defects in short term. Manager will have 1:1s to check in on team and their development, which includes guide them on day to day challenges till build career tracks for them. This person interacts in a weekly basis with multiple teams such as: (i) BI teams to build the correct set of kpis to monitor area, (ii) technology teams to build machine learning solutions to detect and solve errors, (iii) central team partners to identify product opportunities to be deployed in Brazil.
- Proficiency in SQL and VBA.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
