Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health is recruiting for a **REGULATORY SENIOR SCIENTIST **to work in **São Paulo or São José dos Campos**.

Ingredient is the backbone of all of cosmetics products, and due to its criticality in ensuring high level of consumer safety and prerequisite for regulatory compliance, it’s the pillar towards an end-to-end approach of transparency to reflect an evolving consumer preference. This role is an opportunity to learn and collaborate within Chemical Ingredient Regulatory for LATAM Consumer Health It will provide knowledge on cosmetic ingredients and its importance to shape regional/global regulations, while giving the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams and connect across global and regional functions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and coordinate raw materials and formulas regulatory review for LATAM cosmetic products portfolio ensuring quality of deliverables and high level of compliance.
- Lead in the region the impact assessment and communication of regional ingredient's legislation, global internal policies’ and ingredient compliance trends, to anticipate and minimize impact to the business.
- Represent LATAM in global internal discussions, anticipating ingredient threats and advocating for evidence-based regulations/standards.
- Participate on trade associations discussions, responsible for seeking out and incorporating diverse point of view into strategies and solutions.
- Propose innovative solutions and strategies to meet ingredient regulatory needs and business priorities.
- Accelerate our transition to a digital-first company by delivering science-based innovation, predicting and meeting evolving consumer preferences faster and more effectively.

**Qualifications** Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in a science related field is required. Specialization in cosmetology will be considered a differential.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in R&D, Regulatory Affairs or related areas is required.
- Experience in Regulatory Affairs or Chemical Raw Materials is required.
- Advanced English and Portuguese are required. Spanish will be considered a differential.
- Understanding of regional/global Regulatory Agencies will be considered a differential.
- Strong connection and collaboration skill with ability to work and communicate with different partners like local regulatory, supply chain and R&D.
- Ability to work in cross-cultural and cross-functional environment.
- Works independently while possessing strong leadership & collaboration skills
- Rigorous, organize, analytical, synthetic mindset and ability to learn quickly
