**Your job**:

- Develop technologies and tools considering the most modern ones to support the most varied fronts of innovation in the agricultural universe within the Munich Re group.
- Build structured databases, implement remote sensing tools, statistical analysis, web systems development, APIs and interfaces, and coordinate and/or participate in complex projects with different types of partners, members, and partners.
- Develop crop productivity models and tools that support underwriting, portfolio/crop monitoring, and claims.
- Work together and support with interdisciplinary innovation teams in Brazil, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Iberia in projects under shared regional coordination, as well as occasional projects from other regions and/or global.
- Constantly update concerning new technologies and potential development partners, including but not limited to agro startups (agtechs).
- Constant dialogue and exchange of information and experiences with colleagues from different Munich Re units working in agro and innovation in general.
- Participate in strategic discussions with the team to identify new business opportunities and provide the necessary solution development.
- Analyze the agricultural environment (public policies, plans, and programs) and its potential impact on the insurance and reinsurance market; monitor new trends and opportunities in agribusiness.
- Support and assist when required: internal departments (client management, underwriting, finance, claims), identification and connection of business opportunities and key partners, construction of strategic plans, project management, digital solution implementation, knowledge generation and exchange.

- Be an innovation catalyst, working collaboratively on various projects with different teams, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain relationships with strategic people, companies, and entities in the agribusiness sector, especially regarding new trends and innovation.

**Your profile**:

- Required academic background (minimum): bachelor or higher degree in agronomy, climatology, engineering, statistics or related science fields
- Required experience: development of innovation/technology for the agricultural sector
- Strong programming with R and/or Python
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational database management systems
- GIS tools and Remote Sensing techniques
- Advanced English
- Teamwork
- Desired skills: Agricultural insurance and underwriting, intercultural competencies, understanding of the agribusiness market and chain, innovation and project management.
