**Web Developer - Build innovative custom solutions in the iGaming industry**:
We seek an experienced Web Developer that knows around the WordPress ecosystem in creating custom WordPress solutions.

**_ Office Location: Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo, Brazil_**

**_ Work model:_**_ Hybrid_

Office Hours: Full-time, 8-hour workday with flexible hours

**The Role**:
It is crucial that you love what you do, that you are curious and experimental in relation to the things you are good at and also think it's exciting to familiarize and educate yourself on the topics you still don’t master. You are not afraid to ask, but at the same time you are able to work independently, structured and focused on your tasks. You can understand and use the English language in a working environment with ease. You preferably have a few years of agency experience.

You will be challenged and can expect a wide variety in assignments, but also some routine tasks. You will be coding and modifying across our vast portfolio of websites and this in collaboration with other skilled developers, QA, designers, SEO managers, site / project managers etc.

The tasks vary from site to site and from time to time. We run projects based on business needs, which can be of different nature, e.g. “Revamps” where a site is remodeled or upgraded to match current trends / web standards / performance requirements or migrating different websites to WordPress. It can also be implementations of site-specific functionalities whether it’s small or advanced, that are either visitor-oriented or WP user-oriented. In any way, you get to contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.

We take pride in making customized inhouse solutions with WordPress and rely mainly on our developers' technical skills to create unique products that cater our form of business and our partners. We do not therefore rely on third-party products, such as page builders such as Elementor etc. or Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), as we build our solutions natively as much as possible, to build our sites. We would require your knowledge as a skilled developer and not your knowledge in third party plugins to create WordPress products. You, preferably, have experience in creating custom themes / plugins.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Theme / feature development following industry best practices and coding standards
- Implement highly scalable custom solutions in and around the WordPress ecosystem
- Optimisation and maintenance of inhouse products
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain core solutions to ensure strong optimization and functionality

Requirements**:

- Proficient knowledge of WordPress
- HTML5/CSS3/SASS/JavaScript/JSON/jQuery/ES6
- Experience writing and editing PHP code for WordPress
- OOP, MVC
- Versioning control through Git
- CSS Bootstrap / Responsive development

**Apart from that, it would be a plus, but not a requirement, if you know**:

- ReactJS
- Gutenberg blocks development
- Unit testing
