Role Overview
The Senior Immigration Consultant will lead the management and coordination of immigration processes, handling both inbound and outbound relocations, as well as facilitating international transfers between third countries. This role involves advising clients on the best immigration strategies prior to initiating service delivery, guiding them through every phase of the expatriate's relocation and repatriation, and ensuring compliance with SIRVA’s global mobility policies. The consultant will provide a personalized service focused on delivering high-quality solutions to meet client needs.

**Responsibilities**:
**25% Process Leadership and Advisory**:

- Lead the development of best practices within the immigration field, proposing innovative solutions to optimize service delivery.

**25% Client Services and Consultation**:

- Deliver comprehensive immigration advisory services to clients, assessing their unique needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Act as a liaison with local authorities, consulates, and external vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Engage in proactive communication with clients to enhance the customer experience, aiming to expand the client portfolio and drive organizational profitability.

**20% Document Preparation and Process Management**:

- Oversee the preparation of all relevant immigration documentation, including planning expatriate registration, coordinating requests for new services, and managing extensions or cancellations.
- Monitor the validity of documents and ensure timely renewals or adjustments as required.

**15% Data Management and System Updates**:

- Accurately record service fees and ensure that all financial transactions are properly documented within the system.
- Maintain detailed case updates in the case management system, ensuring that each client's status is current and accurately tracked.

**15% Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Sharing**:

- Stay updated with the latest developments in immigration laws and policies.
- Share knowledge with team members to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

**Qualifications**:
**Education & Certification**:

- Bachelor's degree in Law, International Relations, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in immigration, global mobility, or a related specialization are highly desirable.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 8 years of experience as an immigration consultant, preferably at a senior level.
- Proven track record of handling complex immigration cases and providing strategic advisory to clients.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in case management software and data entry systems.

**Communication Skills**:

- Advanced or fluent proficiency in English and Spanish (both verbal and written).
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to mentor and guide peers.
