An** Information Technology Support Specialist** will provide technical support to the Boeing Brazil Engineering & Technology Center and may require the occasional travel around Latin America to assist Boeing offices in that region. Travel is expected to be only a few times a year if at all. Versatile Technologist responsibilities would include but not be limited to: End user support, hardware repair, software installations, router/switch configuration, cable and wire, printer administration, technical trouble shooting, project work, executive support, report writing, video conferencing setup, procurement, research, IT setup in new offices and supporting the IT Business Partner in the region.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Identifies computing requirements and confers on system needs.
- Installs, configures and maintains multi-platform systems hardware, software and components.
- Prepares release planning for software and hardware across the system.
- Ensures system conforms with architectural objectives.
- Evaluates complex system's production readiness and supportability.
- Performs the restoration of routine to complex computing service operations. Integrates security solutions into information systems.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- In-depth experience in Information Technology in a support function role
- Experience with supporting Engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
- Must be legally able to work in Brazil

**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:

- Post-secondary education (IT Certificate, diploma, degree)
- Experience with setting up and/or expansion new office locations
- Experience with larger organization and/or International IT department
