An exciting opportunity has arisen as **Service Consultant -**Automation.**
An Offshore Automation Service Consultant will primarily work with Offshore Automation software and hardware in delivery, after sales and upgrade situations on both current and earlier versions of KM Integrated Control Systems (E&P Segments mainly). The position involves extensive traveling (100 + days a year), both planned and on call on commissioning and service-jobs.
**Qualifications & Skills**
- Technical education (Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma) is required. Backgrounds in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, or Electrical/Electronic Technician programs are highly desirable, but not mandatory.
- Strong customer orientation and service mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to expand technical knowledge across departments.
- Comfortable with frequent and extended travel.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of control systems (e.g., PID controllers, filters).
- Experience with PLC/SCADA systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and produce technical documentation.
- Skilled in troubleshooting low-voltage electrical systems.
- Fluent in English (our official work language).
- Self-driven and committed to long-term technical growth.
**Tasks**
- Commission and service Offshore Automation systems and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and provide technical assistance.
- Participate in FATs, dry-docking, and sea trials.
- Report equipment issues and suggest improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and update CRM systems.
- Support internal teams and contribute to continuous improvement.
**Authority**
- Prioritize and execute tasks during service trips.
- Report safety/security incidents offshore.
- Own assigned service cases and suggest product improvements.
- Proactively recommend upgrades and solutions to customers.
