**Exposure to industry leaders Responsibilities and Impact**: Our product is the ultimate resource for complete financial intelligence on the broad and dynamic media and communications sector, including traditional television, broadcast, streaming media, broadband and mobile services and infrastructure. As an Associate Research Analyst, you will have the opportunity to drive our thought leadership in Latin America, in addition to following the evolution of the TMT industry and operator business models. In this role, you will immerse yourself in the exciting and constantly-evolving telecommunications market, meet industry executives, and position yourself as an expert in the industry.
Conduct financial and strategic analysis of the sector
Develop models and forecast for the telecommunications industry
Write in-depth research articles related to the pay TV, broadband and streaming video industry
Create and maintain proprietary datasets not available anywhere else
Interact with industry leaders, clients, reporters, and other S&P Global teams
Collaborate with internal teams to generate press citations and quotes What We’re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications:
Strong financial and analytical skills, experience in developing data models and forecasts
Have exceptional written and verbal communications skills
**Required Education**: Undergraduate degree
Full professional English and Spanish proficiency Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in media research or TMT industry
Knowledge of Portuguese a plus
Advanced proficiency in MS Office / Word / PowerPoint / Excel
