**About the Role**

We are looking for an individual with strong operational and analytical skills and strategic business sense. In this role, you will work in parallel with several peers to enable our marketplace data and experimentation, involving work with earnings and the relationship with our growth bets (Uber Moto, Flash, Comfort, Black) and our core Marketplace operations and be a teammate in developing initiatives to drive growth and operational efficiencies. This position can make a significant impact on business and change the way people move in Brazil.
- Strategic Ownership: Help develop, lead, and implement a strategy to improve our Portfolio Marketplace and Experience
- Problem Solving: Identify the root cause of risks and opportunities, propose multiple, practical solutions, and weigh tradeoffs to recommend the best approach to bring efficiencies and growth to our product portfolio
- Process Optimization: Implement, optimize, and scale core analyses and processes across the country, regularly reviewing performance for non-UberX products
- Product Improvement: Proactively search for new features or improvements that could improve the experience and efficiency of our marketplace, measure their impact, and collaborate with Regional teams to implement launches in the region
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain productive working relationships with immediate team and cross-functional partners across operations, marketing, customer support, product, policy, and legal to scope, test and implement initiatives

**Basic Qualifications**
- 3+ years of quantitative experience with a consistent track record of solving analytical problems
- Data-driven decision mentality through strong analytical thinking
- Communication: Able to interpret and present data to various audiences in an engaging and comprehensive, yet concise manner
- Teamwork: Demonstrate optimism, respect others, and work well in a team. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and responsibilities. Maintains healthy working relationships, even in disagreements
- Planning & Organization: Ability to create detailed project plans with project stages, milestones, basic interdependencies, and owners
- English proficiency
- SQL, Python or R are required
