Our team is currently looking fora **Staff Accountant.**

The Staff Accountant has primary responsibility for ensuring the integrity of all accounting information for the Global Edge Group of companies by maintaining reliable and accurate accounting records. The Staff Accountant will assist in the development & maintenance of superior internal accounting controls, handling items of a highly confidential nature and demonstrate superior stewardship skills.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:

- Ensure accurate entries for the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures for multiple foreign entities
- Analyze AP, AR, revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
- Enter and translate multi-currency transactions
- Prepare monthly operating expense and balance sheet accruals, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Prepare monthly cash flow reports
- Assist in preparation of the annual budget and revised forecasts
- Assist in the completion of regulatory filings and other compliance reports, including international
- Manage inter-company account reconciliations
- Periodic interaction with all functional management and foreign office personnel within the Global Edge Group of companies
- Assist in the enhancement & maintenance of an efficient and productive accounting function
- Provide back-up support to the Payroll processing function
- Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time, quite often on short notice, by the CFO/CEO/Controller/VP

**QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS)**:
**Education and Certifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CRC is preferred
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & QuickBooks

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of previous accounting experience required for consideration, preferably in the staffing / recruiting business
- Payroll processing & global mobility / international experience a plus
