**THE OPPORTUNITY**
We are hiring an **Accounts Payable Specialist** for our **Finance **team in Brazil
The Accounts Payable Specialist will effectively perform the payments routine for the Americas (Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, and the US) and bank reconciliation on time. Should be able to identify opportunities for improvement, kick-off, and drive projects to improve operations and service delivery for the team. It is expected to understand the principles of withholding taxes, VAT, flexibility in adapting to team priorities, and the ability to execute basic and standard transactions and reporting in the Netsuite system.
**YOUR IMPACT**
- Perform payments (suppliers, employee reimbursements - Concur) with accuracy and on time every week for the Americas;
- Matching purchase orders and reviewing charts of accounts, reconcile balances;
- Reconcile transactions with accuracy and on time, assist with the month-end closing processes;
- Prepare all reconciliation needed for the department, control, and review of payables aging ;
- Proactively work with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on processes and share knowledge and best practice;
- Identify and follow up on process opportunities directly impacting daily activities within the team;
- Support with team projects for process innovation and improvement, actively test and implement new tools and software;

- You have great analytical skills and excellent written and oral communication abilities;
- You're humble, structured, organized, and motivated by innovation while enjoying working as a team player and sharing and learning from others;
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Accounting;
- You have previous and relevant experience in accounts payable-related roles;
- Spoken and written Advanced proficiency in English is a must and Spanish ability is a plus;
- Advanced knowledge and computer skills (GSuite and Microsoft office package);
- Experience working with Netsuite, Oracle Cloud or SAP, and Concur is a plus;
- Experience working with Citibank, Kyriba, or JPM platforms is a plus.
