**Senior Associate - Technology & Product Solutions (Technical Solutions) - Back-End Development**

**About the Role**
- Proactively work on back-end development projects and initiatives as directed.
- Working with key business stakeholders to ensure data/development initiatives and associated tools are fit for purpose, tested, provide required functionality, reporting and efficiency targets identified.
- Provide support to the data/development environment and associated tools.
- Ensure development best practices are delivered, including but not limited to, data architecture, security, supporting documentation and BCP.
- Support other Information Technology initiatives as identified.

**What we need from you**

On the daily

**Acting as a**n** **I**nformation Technology **development** **resource** **on** a **day-to-day perspective**:

- Working on systems integration to third party portals and data level initiatives, that enable data to be consolidated, linked, and made available across the IT environment.
- Involved in designing data architecture, storage approach and build out.
- Supporting the business by providing Information Technology support to internal users (across all systems and associated tools).
- Provide support to external Clients in conjunction with the business, where required.
- Participate in workstreams on development upgrades and maintenance of Information Technology services, if required.
- Training & Development - Assist in Training staff at all levels to ensure correct and efficient use of the development environment.
- Proactive monitoring of associated development environment, to ensure security, availability, and continuous use of services.
- Diligent approach to development tasks completing with a high degree of accuracy and competence.
- Provide a flexible approach to supporting internal users in different locations and time zones.
- In the event of BCP or significant system issue/downtime, provide development support as required/until resolution in place.

- Provide ad-hoc day-to-day support on requests that come up.
- Work with clients on any demand they may have that Catalyst can assist with.
- Share insights to enable development of new processes and procedures that will create business efficiency and support delivery of client excellence in service.
- Maintain awareness of industry, regulatory, jurisdictional, and other trends that could affect the business.
- Contribute to the creation, development and implementation of new products and solutions to accommodate changing customer needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations staff, business users, project, and implementation managers to achieve desired and elegant solutions.

**Skills & Experience**

The role requires the following skills & experience:

- +5 years minimum working in IT development roles.
- Proficient in working with large datasets in MS SQL | Azure.
- Strong API capabilities (JSON | REST | SOAP).
- Exposure to Dynamics 365 | PowerApps | Dataverse.
- Associate or Bachelor level degree in Computer Science or IT would be an advantage.
- Any additional IT qualifications or further education would be preferred.
- Preferred experience working within the hedge / private equity fund administration industry.
- Previous experience working and supporting internal users and providing professional service.
- Strong communication skills.
- Expert level use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- Fluent in English (writing & speaking).
