Materials Planner Junior

About the Role

Works with the sales and commercial team, region personnel, AMO and supply chain to translate the demand across multiple time horizons in to physical orders and ensures they are delivered to meet the customer requirements.

As a Materials Planner Junior, you will be responsible for:

- Manage the FUP of materials from their respective portfolio of tools or equipment, Carry out due follow-up of internal and external processes with support sectors in pursuit of agreed dates and compliance with the operational plan.
- Ensure the correct use of MRP, so that the system supports decision-making.
- Performing various material management analyzes such as forecasts, strategic inventory, purchase orders, material in transit analysis, alternative material analysis, Engineering reviews, push-outs, excess pull-ins, cancellation messages, make or buy, Hard and soft pegging and etc.
- Analyzes incoming demand: identifies order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory
Plans and schedules order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs
- Works with the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates as needed (push outs, pull ins)
- Performs various material management analysis such as statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged purchase orders, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.
- Implements inventory stocking strategies
- Monitor levels of safety stock, global and aging inventory and works with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly
- Works with the AMO organization to ensure spare parts and asset demands are captured
- Works to ensure new assets, repaired assets and spares are captured with the Sales & Operations Planning process
- Assists in executing continuous improvement projects to maximize value.

To be successful in this role you will neet to be:

- Studying a bachelor's degree in administration.
- Associates' Degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience (1+ years’ experience)
- Experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management
- Ability to work with and influence stakeholders
- Tactical execution with a sense of urgency
- Experience in MRP
