**Developer (Back-end)**

**Responsibilities include**:

- Build automated tests for the code you develop.
- Assist in technical and external user documentation development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of development tools and practices.

**Required Education and Skills**:

- Completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in software development is desired.
- Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
- Knowledge of software design principles, patterns and best practices
- Familiar with Cloud and SaaS Development: Azure/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, event-streaming, etc.
- Proficient in writing code in one of Java, Python or JavaScript, with experience writing services and knowledge of relevant frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Node.JS.
- Some experience creating and consuming services with RESTful APIs.
- Some experience consuming data from relational or non-relational data systems, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra.
- Familiar with secure coding practices.
- Familiar with unit testing or other test automation tools, such as JUnit, JMeter, JEST, Karma/Jasmine, Protractor.
- Proficiency in Git version control.

**Desired Experience and Skills**
- Oil & Gas industry experience nice to have.
- Familiar with back-end build tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Gradle, Maven, npm.

**Senior Developer (Back-end)**

**Responsibilities include**:

- Develop strategies for automated testing of the services including API and performance testing.
- Assist the team lead in product planning and technical solution design.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Proactively identify areas for system improvement and propose solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Assist in creation of external user documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of existing and emerging technologies relevant to the role.

**Required Education and Skills**:

- Completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline.
- Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
- Deep understanding of software and SaaS design principles, patterns and best practices.
- Deep understanding of designing components and services for use in a larger ecosystem.
- Experience with Cloud and SaaS Development: Azure/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, event-streaming, etc.
- Proficiency in writing services in Java, Python or JavaScript, with experience in relevant frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Node.JS.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, documentation tools like Swagger, web services, and JSON.
- Experience creating and consuming data from relational and non-relational data systems such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra.
- Familiar with secure coding practices and able to identify and fix security issues.
- Experience with unit testing or other automated testing tools such as JUnit, JMeter, JEST, Karma/Jasmine, Protractor.
- Experience evaluating and using third party components and frameworks.
- Proficiency in Git version control.
- Familiar with back-end build tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Gradle, Maven, npm.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to learn fast.

**Desired Experience and Skills**
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Full-stack development experience highly desired, including familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
- Familiar with deployment automation tools such as Helm and Ansible
- Familiar with GraphQL
