**We are searching for the best talent for LOGISTIC SPECIALIST II to be in Sao Jose dos Campos or Sao Paulo.**

**Purpose**:The Logistics Specialist resides in the Global Air and Ocean Sourcing Team within the Global Logistics Procurement (GLP) group. The role will have a scope of global responsibilities and the main point of contact for Air and Ocean procurement tasks and processes within the LATAM region. The scope of business includes freight in the Consumer, MedTech, and Pharmaceutical sectors. This individual will identify, develop and direct the implementation of Procurement goals and strategies and deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, service, and compliance.

This role will be highly visible in the LATAM region and globally and an excellent opportunity to shape, connect, and lead.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Supplier Relationship Management
- Nurture and develop strong supplier relationships and be the main contact for suppliers that service the LATAM region.
- Implement joint collaborative initiatives with a focus on innovation, diversity, and sustainability.
- Drive and executive cost savings initiatives.
- Develop relationships with key business partners to drive efficiency and mitigate risks. Examples include IRTE and LATAM Deliver Teams.
- Contribute and drive input within category strategy development.
- High level performance of sourcing principles: negotiation, contracting, influencing, cost efficiency.
- Understand and identify business demand requirements to deliver value improvements.
- Develop and execute Procurement strategies that are aligned with the business needs.
- Develop and drive the Procurement vision for, with, and through the stakeholder community.
- Analyze, monitor and review market trends and advise internal customers on mitigation actions to overcome potential problems or risks.
- Lead and complete bids when necessary (regionally and globally) enabling a fair decision-making process and leveraging bidding tools used by J&J.

**Qualifications** Qualifications and requirements**:
**_Required:_**
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required.
- Minimum experience of 4 years in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Transportation, or other relevant field.
- Fluent in English is required.

**_Preferred:_**
- Project management experience
- Previous experience or knowledge of air and/or ocean freight and international logistics
- Knowledge of the LATAM region
- Established credibility with LATAM partners
