The Regional NIR & Lab IT Systems Technologist provides an essential link between the expert center and the users, ensuring the continuity of the service through providing instrument and software troubleshooting, governance and training for manufacturing sites concerning NIR related topics. The professional also is responsible to support the Latam Regional Lab systems and data analytics strategy for continuous improvement of quality and efficiency of the laboratory services to customers.

**What are we looking for?**:

- Experiences of 3 years working within Lab in Food, cosmetics or pharmaceutical industry
- Good understanding of the lab processes and practices
- A demonstrable record of successful remote peer relationship, able to motivate and engage superiors, peers, direct and indirect associates.
- A good affinity in the area of IT systems and data processing
- Ability with excel spreadsheets and pivots
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken English.
- Experiences in a remote support environment is preferable.
- A background of working with NIR is preferable.

**What will be your key responsibilities?**:

- Coordinate the NIR verification sample collection/shipments with the sites and implement change requests from the CoE NIR verification program.
- Provide support for all NIR site key-users support requests, troubleshoots to ensure trusted NIR results
- Remotely monitor the NIR hardware preventative maintenance program and execute in collaboration with the site key-user instrument standardizations to ensure flawless instrument performance and minimize NIR instrument down-time.
- Identify continuous improvement needs and support it;
- Remotely execute the NIR site key-users training.
- Support the purchase and remote commissioning process for new NIR equipment sites
- Collation of all data required and report to the expertise centre to deliver the quarterly metric to the segments
- Be reactive to interpret non-conform spectral analyses of raw materials at site lab reception;
- Work into collaboration with North America NIR & Lab IT Systems Technologist to support all Americas’ sites;
- Being a backup for regional NIR peers in urgent matters during other regions out of standard working hours where required.
- Support the Latam Regional Lab systems and data analytics strategy for continuous improvement of quality and efficiency of the laboratory services to customers. This includes LIMS, Service Now and Power BI activities;
- Support the business partnership program by joining meetings with customers and presenting updates of NIR and Systems activities.
