This is the job*

Exciting times ahead, we are expanding to LatAm and are looking for a Business Controller to join the expansion team in Sao Paulo, Brazil. You will be a part of an initial team of 4, but also a part of a bigger global finance team based in Sweden.

**This is what you’ll do**
- Review financial statements to ensure they are accurate and complete
- Analysing financial data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and risks
- Provide insight on financial issues that may impact the organisation’s performance
- Manage operational budget and forecast future needs for expenditures
- Liaise with the accounting department and engage with local consultancy (e.g. invoicing, account reconciliations etc.)
- Support the treasury department by engaging with local banking partners, performing banking
- and other treasury activities related to LatAm

**This is what you’re good at**
- You have an analytical mindset, eager to find and evaluate business opportunities and are comfortable engaging with a wide spectrum of analytical and financial tasks
- You will work in our expansion office to LatAm, this requires you to be comfortable with a fast-paced moving environment, and are willing to work in a cross-functional team
- You take ownership of new and exciting projects and enjoy leading them3+ years experience in business control, analytics or business development, evaluating growth opportunities and business planning
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills
- Familiar with e-banking platforms and basic banking terms
- Fluent in Portuguese, English and if you are comfortable with Spanish that is considered a plus
